What's everyone's preferred transmitter? I see Spektrum has really taken over but I guess I'm stuck in my old ways and always differ to Futaba. I've seen a lot of Airtronics and Hitec still too. Just looking for thoughts and suggestions? I know I want a radio with a decent memory storage so I can just add a receivers as the collection grows.

I'm still stuck in my old ways as well I use a Futaba 3PL it has 10 memory settings and runs around $115. I have driven other drivers vehicles that use a Spektrum transmitter and liked it, however when I get a new radio it will be a Futaba 4PLS. I don't really know anything about Airtronics or Hitec, I haven't used their products. Hope this helps.

Looks like I'll stick with Futaba. I'm actually running a Turnigy 9x for my planes cause I was able to reflash the operating system to er9x which had better mixing options and made better use of memory but their ground systems look really cheap and programing seem "clunky" if that make sense.

Makes sense. So have you made a decision on the 2wd Buggy?

Makes sense. So have you made a decision on the 2wd Buggy? No, not yet. We'll see once taxes come back. I'm building a racecar and little race trucks at the same time. This week has been quite expensive for the first one. Most likely it'll be a B5...Durango is having parts availability issues.

I have the Futaba 4PLS, awesome radio, still haven't figured out all of the options! Only complaint is that the grip isn't the most comfortable, I found some foam grip tape to put on, seems better. I know a lot of people are getting the Spektrum because of the AVC, I've heard pros and cons to it, for me I've been a Futaba guy for years so that's what I'm sticking with. The new 4PX is pretty sweet if you have an extra $550.00 laying around.
