Just as the title states. What are people running in 2wd mod?

I can't speak for all but a majority of us are running 10.5. I personally am starting with 0 boost and 0 timing, but I may add a little here and there. Anyway the 10.5 is more then enough power for the track sense its outdoors and the grip isn't there like indoor clay tracks.

Very nice. I'm slowly getting the B5 together. It's all together other than turn buckles, electronics and tires. I have a Futaba 3PL and a few essentials for the buggy on the way too.

Still awaiting parts from Amain. They got delayed due to the weather out west. I'm haven't bought the power system yet since I have to let some funds recoup. This may sound weird but I really like the way the 12mm shocks build so much easier than the old style SC10/T4 shocks.

They are very nice. I think you'll really enjoy the way the buggy handles with them.

So I ended up finishing up the buggy last night since the parts finally came. Went looking for the body and couldn't find it for the life of me. I remembered taking it down stairs to show my friend that has the SC10RS and hadn't seen it since. Turns out my GF threw it away thinking it was trash, why IDK but she did. I got a txt today saying she bought me a JConcepts Silencer body. Sweet, I liked those better that the stock one anyway. She had told me she would never buy me anything RC so I'll take this as a win.

Well I'm glad your stuff came in and you got to finish your buggy. Bummer that the body got thrown away but at least you got a new one out of it. The Finnisher body does look good I ran one last year on my B4.2 and I will be running one on my B44.3 this year. When you get a chance post some pics of your rides so I can use it for our membership page. Warm weather can't come soon enough, I'm ready to start doing something I've got my Buggies all dressed up with no place to go.....

Parts are slowly trickling in to finish the B5. I really like the way the Trackstar 17.5 is in my SC10 so I ended up getting a 10.5 from them as well.
I saw on FB that Easton has super soft blockades in stock so I'll be taking a trip over early next week to see if any are left and grab a few odds and ends.
Quick Question since I dont feel like making a new thread. What front buggy tires is everybody running since Blockades are rear only? How do you think the Caliber's on all 4 corners would do?

Buggy fronts that I ran and I believe Rob and Trey ran last year were Jconcepts Groovy and Rips. I also ran Holeshots (Rear) toward the end of the year and increased my best lap time. I would say your safe with the blockades but you may want to pick up a finer pin tire as well. Calibers have been known to work well, Ive used them on my 4wd SCT but not on my Buggy just because I don't have any for my buggy. I have a couple sets of fronts so if you want to try anything before buying your more than welcome to. Since I seem to be writing a book ill give you a run down of what I bought for my 2wd and 4wd Buggy. Of course since I haven't actually been on the track I'm not completely sure what will work but at least I have options. 2wd Front Jconcepts Rips Jconcepts Groovy Jconcepts Rounder 4wd Front Jconcepts Double Dees Jconcepts Flip Outs Jconcepts Goose Bumps 2wd/4wd Rear Jconcepts Double Dees Jconcepts Flip Outs Jconcepts Goose Bumps Jconcepts Hybrids Proline Blockades

I'm with Ray, we kind of don't know what to expect this year since the track will be so different in both design and the material used, we have a lot more clay in it this year. I bought the following tires for my B5 and will try them all out during testing:
Fronts JConcepts Groovy Super Soft Pro-Line 4 Rib Soft Pro-Line Hole Shot Super Soft Pro-Line Hole Shot Soft
Rear AKA EVO Impact Super Soft Pro-Line Blockade Super Soft Pro-Line Blockade Soft Pro-Line Bow Tie Super Soft
Hopefully one of these combinations will work.
Jconcepts Goose Bumps in super soft were good last year when they were new. Once the tread wore a little, they lost a lot of grip.
Calibers are good (they were last year) if the track isn't too wet, my experience was that they clogged up if there was too much moisture in the track but worked pretty well in dryer conditions. Only had calibers on the rear.
